🛠️ Installation Notes (Read First)

We don’t currently supply a printed manual, but we’re happy to help if you have questions. Please review the following before you start:

1. Motor–controller plug: A white plug is supplied separately. Do not connect it until you’ve trial-fitted spacers, torque arms and axle nuts. When ready, connect the plug — match colours red→red, black→black, green→green, blue→blue, yellow→yellow.
2. Cable groups: Three thicker cables are motor phases; five thin 5V wires are the hall sensors.
3. Connectors: Photos may show a yellow MT60. For this BMX kit we use bullet connectors (push-fit) with a silicone sleeve to allow spacer/torque-arm/nut clearance.
4. Spacers: Gold spacers (with folded tab) can be used inside or outside the dropouts. They’re not always essential — choose what gives the best fit. The tab should locate in the dropout to help secure the axle.
5. Dropout size: Typical BMX rear dropout is ~110 mm. Steel BMX frames are tough to spread — plan your spacer/washer stack accordingly. Fit both torque arms.

🔋 Battery Placement (BMX Frames)

• BMX triangles are small and usually lack bottle-cage mounts. A common solution is top-tube mounting.
• We recommend using a rivnut gun to install threaded inserts in the tube for a secure battery base.
• You’re welcome to use a different battery if it suits your needs.
